Candy Buffet

A friends sister was getting married on Friday and she asked me to do a candy buffet for her! I thought I would share some pics at my first attempt at a candy buffet!! My friend Jenny did the large letters for the banner for me with her silhouette (wish I had one) and most of the stamps are Paper Smooches 'Sugar Rush', 'Alphadot', and 'Fruitastic' and well as Waltzingmouse Stamps for the borders on the labels! I found a free download for the sign wording and got the scoops to decorate and bags I stamped on from eBay. All the jars and cake stands were from Ikea....

Time Flies....

doesn't it!!!
Just popping in with a card for the current Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge that was inpsired by a pretty funny sign found on Pinterest!!

I wanted to pick up the colours and get that fun pop of orange with the helicopter, use the fun arrangement of the type with the Alphadot set, and use a popular quote and make it punny{and at the moment the inspiration quote is a hit on Pinterest}.

It also reminds me that that the Easter Millionare Raffle is tonight... fingers crossed.. lol!

A Perfect Example of How...

cards don't always end up as planned! And I actually thought the one layer challenge would be sooooo easy for me!!
I am sharing anyway since the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge deadline is approaching fast and I won't get another chance to make anything today.....

Hope everyone has a fabulous Easter Weekend!
