 Just popping in to share a card that I made for Paper Smooches July SPARKS Challenge!! I used the designer draft sketch in the top left hand corner and the Paper Smooches 'Boob Tubes' stamp set for this card, along with the new Basic Grey 'Lauderdale' papers... super fun and bright colours!!!!

Tuesday Trigger: Pretty & Flirty...

Number 2!

I have had two weeks to work with the Tuesday Trigger over at Moxie Fab World, and typical, the last night all the ideas start popping into my head.... will have to save #3 for another time though since it's nearing bedtime for the little ones.....

Just love the yellow with the pop of black buttons, and used the floral background print as inspiration for the paper piecing on the dress form. Also added some black adhesive stones to the bodice to look like the buttons on the coat!

Just a quick post to share how I was inspired by the Tuesday Trigger:Pretty & Flirty at Moxie Fab World!

I loved the bright yellow and black together and picked up the floral background in the paper. Hope it makes for a pretty and flirty Anniversary Wish for someone!

What's Shaken'?

Guess what arrived today.....

yup, new stamps!!! Paper Smooches goodness.... 

this is the first time I have tried them and when I first set my eyes on them I thought... these are so cute I could eat them... he he!!

I inked up the little milkshake first and made a card  Wee Memories CAS challenge and for CAS-ual Fridays  challenge 'Sweets & Treats'! {but totally missed the deadline for CAS-ual fridays... whoops.. thought I had till tonight!!}

This weeks Color Q is a yummy combination of colours... but I have to admit I was a little bit stumped to start..... 

I decided to go with a retro type vibe using Bows and Berries 'retro phone' image coloured tangerine with Copics and my second last hand dyed doily from Frog Feathers Etsy shop... oh no!!

Fanatical about Botanical!

I was over the moon excited that I was choosen as one of the five winners for the Beautiful Border Challenge... thanks to everyone for their lovely comments!! Now we are moving on the the next Moxie Fab World Challenge:  Fanatical About Botanical! 


I made this card the day the challenge was announced but haven't had the weather for a picture or the chance to post it till today... those kiddos are keeping me busy!!


I took some inspiration for this from the Moxie Fab Blog Header... when I saw the boudior stripes with the botanical scene I had to include them in my card! I finally put some of my Tim Holtz stamps to use... thought this bird and the french script from the Urban Grunge set were fun and used his On the Edge Bracket die to make the bottom of the card more interesting.


Well, have another fun filled day ahead... the Paediatric Dentist in Dublin.... just finding it should be a blast in itself.. lol!

Have an Awesome Day!!

Well, we sure had an awesome day yesterday at the beach... a couple of girlfriends and I brought our kids to the beach nearby and had a picnic and day of chat and sun!! That evening we all met up at one of the friends houses for a BBQ with the hubbys as well!! Great night!! 


I made this card for Create's current challenge-use Baker's Twine.... this one is two weeks so you have loads of time to play!!

{I tried to curve the corners while I was sewing.. some practice at that might be in order...lol!!}

I used these Lil' Inker Dies below for the clouds and used the rainbow as a template to adhere my twine to!

You're so cool!!

Create has a new challenge up to use accordion flowers so I got the old score board out and went to work! I made a small accordion flower to put over my cheaters accordion box flower... just used some fun cupcake linners! Had to use some red, white and blue for this card since these colours are all the rage this week... lol! {even though I am a Canadian living in Ireland.... Happy Canada Day, by the way!} My papers are the new Basic Grey 'Life of the party' and I used Bows and Berries newly released 'Rocket Pop'!
