Can be super effective and I often forget about using the technique...

I did some simple scoring with my card and kept it quite CAS with just a little blue distressing on the edges......

a MINI little challenge.....

This is the last challenge for Some Odd Girl's ANNY WEEK!

Some Odd Girl Elements Challenge!

here is another fun challenge for yah.....

pick 3 elements from the list (each beginning with a letter from SOME ODD GIRL) and pull them together into a project with a SOG Digi. Here's the list of Elements:

Layers (at least 4 on your creation)

Kids Day with Some Odd Girl!!

What fun!! I know how much I love colouring these images so I can't deny the kiddos some fun...

Some Odd Girl Anny Week Day 4!

Today we have a fun colour challenge for you..... my fave type of challenge I think because everyone has such a different take on it!

Ode to Some Odd Girl....

Welcome to Some Odd Girl's Mini Hop! With this post we are taking some time to look  back at some of our Some Odd Girl creations....
{this post is super picture heavy!! couldn't stop adding them...  lol}

thought I would share some of my first creations {yikes!} and other ones to follow!

this first pic is a little collage of when I discovered Some Odd Girl... had only discovered digital images and colouring in..... don't think I even owned markers yet and borrowed them from my friend Jenny... didn't get the whole concept of shading yet. This was April 2010... not even a year ago... have coloured so many images now it's crazy!

This is the one that earned me my 'lil oddity badge for top 2.. was so excited! he he

Kristy wants to know who our favourite SOG character is...

I never thought that question would be so hard!

I love them all for different reasons...

Kody with his cool dude attitude and fab hair, Kaylee, since she is the original SOG girl with her funky and fun aura, then there are all the kitchen, techie, and nature digis that can be so much fun to pair with punny sentiments....

BUT 

I suppose I love Relax Mae the most...

maybe it's because I feel she resembles me the most.. back in my care free university days, just back from tree planting all summer long in the sun, or doing some hiking on the Sleeping Giant, or sitting round the campfire {on a bug filled eve}

I even tried to colour her that way with some jean shorts and grey hoodie, the hair and eyes...

anyway... now I am reminiscing!!! lol!

I haven't put her on a card yet... but no hurry, Mae is just relaxing... waiting for the perfect spot!

I even have her above my workspace on a layout I did to apply for the SOG DT in the summer to remind me to relax!!!

I made this card for Passion for Papertrey's current challenge where they have urged us to go out of our comfort zone.... I really went with a different colour pallet here compared to my usual {like a lot of the fab DT examples they posted}....
