Just a quick post tonight!

Just wanted to let all you Some Odd Girl fans that we are starting a brand new challenge today with team stash where we would love to see fabric on your creations...... as usual I played along....

I cut out a piece of fabric with a nestie and put it behind the one of the new Tinies 'Kiss a Prince Tia' {now available in shop!} and added some ball trim for fun!

For Granny's Birthday!

A couple days ago in 'Card Class' with Shirley we learned how to make a sweet little waterfall mini album (not sure the official name!).... thought it was a great idea as a little pressie for my Mother in Law instead of the usual card I give her so I made one for her yesterday.... seemed to be a hit with her so thought I would share! All the pictures are of her 7 grandchildren.... although if you didn't want to add pictures it's a great way to have multiple images or quotes in one small package!

so as you pull the ribbon the pages flip and the message at the bottom is revealed!

It's been a while....

(1) Since I have done a layout

(2) Since I have played with the Design Dollies

I always love their challenges so when I saw the words

"Last sketch of the month"

I thought "Wow, where has the time gone???"

So I decided I better do both...

And since I have just collected about another 200 

or so photos yesterday to be scraped, 

put in albums and frames, 

I better get the previous 200 in first!!!!!

{or stop taking so many photos!}

So I played along with the last sketch of the month 

and the elements challenges for this one...

I got the little crochet flower from Penny 

(one of the Dollies)as part of a prize during the

Blog Hop in the summer, the cool retro doily from 

Avoca, and even used my new MS button punch!

For the paint part of the elements challenge 

I used TH crackle paint in 'peeled paint' to frame the LO

Since it was a summery photo, I went for bright,

bold colours....

I love the hammock for great shots of the kids

{Grampa from Canada was standing behind me in this

one making faces!}

(could only get inside photos today so not great!)
