Felt is fun... don't you think?

I had to try making felt flowers.... there are so many things you can do with them. First, I just dressed up a jar I use to hold my odd flowers.

The colours I had grabbed quickly on the way home the other day just happened to go perfectly with my kitchen appliances!! So our drab cork board in the kitchen is now cuted up.

Think I will try some picture frames next!

It's only fair.....

Well, we made another for my mom in law sooooo.... it's only fair if my other little girl gets in the picture, don't you think?

A bit smaller this time so as not to take over her house when we give it to her!

I saw this project on one of my favourite blogs a few weeks ago, I think. http://tatertotsandjello.blogspot.com/ (I will put link on side). I was out one day and came across these cute fairy cake cases so I figured it was destiny and tried my hand at making one. Easier said than done, of course, as I still had to order the wreath base and ribbon on EBay since I couldn't find a base where I live.

This is the end product... I was chuffed it turned out and so was my eldest daughter (in below pic with something she made while she was watching me). She said "mom, your the best mommy in the world for making this" he he, cute!

Personalized BABY gifts

A memory box I had bought for a baby gift dressed up a little bit more girly for new baby Zara....

My god daughter Eve will be one soon!! I bought a plain cork board 
and used some embellishments and pics I had of her to decorate....

The original plan changed a bit as I started sticking things down.
More pics or other bits can be attached with the diamonte push pins!

Can't help the urge to dress up everything these days. Found a plain wooden frame and used a few embellishments to brighten it up. The kids wanted to give their Auntie something as pretty and special as she is.... hope she likes it!

Valentine's Sweet Jars

Just a quick little craft for your sweetie on Valentine's Day...
Find a clean empty jar and a fairy cake case... I found these at Avoca today, so cute!!

Flatten the case over the top of the jar lid

Glue to jar lid with glue gun

And fill with sweetie's favourite sweets

You can be as creative as you like with this... decorate jar and lid with different embellishments or keep it simple if you are short on time... which I was... kids calling!!!

Our gingerbread train... I am afraid Ali made short change of this pre Christmas. Everytime I would look at it, the train was getting smaller! Bite!!!

Snow!!!

Well, it doesn't happen often.... BUT when it does the world comes to a hault! We enjoyed our New Year's Day taking an early moring walk in the SNOW. We missed out on going to Dublin to see Disney on Ice but for the girls this was nearly as good......

Christmas card photo shoot....

Our annual Christmas card photo shoot taken on the 14th of November '09. Always a trying experience for Bosenberries... BUT delighted with the results (except the bit of light on Ali's face). Created and ordered card with Shutterfly and they all made it out in time for Christmas!
